A Schooled Pioneer

This was my attempt to make a new recording of another track you'll now find here called Pioneer School.
My original recording of Pioneer School seemed to have been lost a few years ago in a computer mishap, and I set out to re-record a new version of it about a month ago.I'd always liked it, and thought it needed at least "a fresh coat of paint" through the creation of a new version.
I set about doing that without listening to a poor copy I had of the original I'd thought lost, and lo and behold, I wound up with A Schooled Pioneer, which is basically a whole new song. Failing to go to school on the old version led to what you'll hear here. While deep into working on A Schooled Pioneer, I found a good recording of Pioneer School, so now there's the 2 of them. This brand new recording was too far along to try to emulate what I was now hearing again in the original, and it really is its own entity.. I'll call it a basically bone-headed, but happy, accident.
A Schooled Pioneer is a lot more sophisticated than Pioneer School was, so you'll find that the Pioneer is now pretty accomplished. The original title related to an activity my wife was involved in for the week in 2014 when I recorded that track.
